Tuyisenge joins the club from APR FC where he lifted two league titles
AS Kigali have made their intentions clear about staking a claim to the Rwandan National Football League going by their transfer business after roping in former Gor Mahia forward Jacques Tuyisenge.
The lanky forward joins former Gor Mahia duo of Lawrence Juma and custodian Peter Odhiambo who he played alongside during his time at the club.
Tuyisenge joins AS Kigali from APR FC where he spent close to two years and helped the club to back to back league titles as the club extended their dominance in Rwanda.
The 30-year-old inked a one year deal with AS Kigali who have also signed Satulo Edward and Ykre Dangmo to take their transfer business to five in the current window.
AS Kigali is under the tutelage of former AFC Leopards and Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa Mbungo who delivered the Rwandan Cup last season after beating APR in the final and denying them the double.
The club has also been heavily linked with another of AFC Leopards head coach, Patrick Aussems who is yet to return to the country to take charge of pre-season training.
AS Kigali has never lifted the league title with their only major success being lifting the Rwandan Cup on three occasions, back in 2013, 2019 and the last edition.
