
Tusker FC striker Ojok targets double digits

He joined Tusker in August 2021 from Ugandan side BUL FC on a two-year long deal and recently extended his stay for one more season.
Tusker FC striker Deogratious Ojok is setting his sights on scoring at least 10 goals in the 2023/24 Football Kenya Federation Premier League campaign.
The Ugandan kicked off his campaign with a goal against Bandari at the Mbaraki Grounds in the opening weekend to hand the Brewers a 1-0 win.
Recounting his good start, Ojok said that scoring on the opening round was good for him to get his season started.
Further, the lanky forward is hoping to have a smooth campaign that will see hit double digits in terms of goals for the Robert Matano charges.
"It is exciting to start the season with a goal as it is something that gets you going. I am grateful for the opening goal of the season and hopefully, I will keep on scoring to the end of the season. I had some challenges last season which affected my output midway despite starting well but I hope I will have a great campaign this time around. there is a broadcast partner and that is pushing us to work harder. I think it will be a better season and I hope to score more. As a striker, I am aiming for double digits this season," he told the club's media.

Tusker are set to take on Kariobangi Sharks in the second round of the season on Saturday at the Ruaraka grounds as they seek to continue their good start,
Last season, the 12-time Kenyan champions won their opening six matches before they surrendered the streak after losing to Bandari in Mombasa.
