Part Three of the five-part series of 'Top 50 most promising Kenyan Under 23 players’ is out with 10 more exciting young players who are tearing up the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).
The list of ‘Top 50 most promising Kenyan players Under 23’ is a five-part series of articles for the next five Mondays to highlight the list of future prospects in no particular order of ranking as the list is randomised.
21. Norman Ogolla (Mathare United)
The left-back is having a wonderful breakthrough season at Mathare United having played every single minute this season.
Despite The Slum Boys being the second-worst defence in the league, Ogolla has filled in the shoes of David Messi Owino well.

22. Maxwell Mulili (AFC Leopards)
The shot-stopper is currently on loan at Zoo FC from AFC Leopards after facing stiff competition from Benjamin Ochan and John Oyemba.
Having turned out for Green Commandos in the National Super League and has also been in the books of Kariobangi sharks, Mulili is eager to show what he is capable of.
23. Alphonse Omija (Kariobangi Sharks)
The defender ditched Gor Mahia at the start of the season to join Kariobangi Sharks after impressing in the 2020 CECAFA U20 tournament.
Omija was also part of the Kenya U17 team at the 2019 Africa U17 Cup of Nations Qualifiers, and the Union of North African Federations (Unaf) U17 tournament in Egypt in 2019.
24. Alphonse Washe (Bandari)
Washe is another of the budding players who earned big moves after impressing in the 2020 CECAFA U20 tournament where Kenya finished fourth.
The former Coast Stima FC winger is however facing stiff competition at Bandari with Abdalla Hassan and Darius Msagha hard to displace.

25. Leslie Otieno (Vihiga United)
The midfielder has been an integral part of Vihiga United’s side and scored the winner in the 2-1 win over Nzoia Sugar back in December 2020.
The former Kariobangi Sharks Youth has represented the country in the Union of North African Federations (UNAF) U17.
26. Jackson Dwang (Posta Rangers)
The midfielder is one of the many to have emerged from Nzoia Sugar after sealing a transfer to Posta Rangers back in 2019.
Dwang has had a string of impressive performances in the middle of the pack owing to his precise passing and has immensely improved his game under head coach Stanley Okumbi.
27. Frank Odhiambo (Gor Mahia)
Despite not making a single appearance for Gor Mahia the centre back made a name for himself in the 2020 CECAFA Championships.
So impressive were his performances that Gor Mahia signed him after the tournament from Division Two side Bongonaya FC.

28. Clinton Bulimo (Western Stima)
Bulimo is another of the players who are playing their debut season in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).
The wingback who is comfortable on any flank was part of the 2019 Chapa Dimba na Safaricom national champions with Manyatta United and was propelled from Division One to top tier having previously turned out for Kisumu Hotstars.
29. Erick Otieno (Wazito)
The forward has had a season to remember after starting for Nzoia Sugar in the opening games of the season.
One of the games included giving Wazito a huge scare by scoring against them with the performance earning him a move to the moneybags where he scored against Zoo FC.
30. John Njuguna (Ulinzi Stars)
Njuguna thrust himself to the limelight in the 2018 edition of the Chapa Dimba while turning out for Euronuts FC.
He seamlessly fitted into the Ulinzi Stars set up playing in the number 10 role with physicality and creativity one of his biggest assets.
