The former Gor Mahia and Sony Sugar FC midfielder has three assists in the last four games
Following a spectacular weekend, Kenyan international Tobias Otieno has been included in the United Soccer League (USL) team of the week after registering an assist for Tormenta FC.
The former Gor Mahia midfielder was instrumental for Tormenta FC as they bounced back to winning ways following a 3-1 victory over Northern Colorado Hailstorm on Sunday.
Tobias was included in the team of the week despite only playing a single half in the win over Colorado Hailstorm as he was withdrawn at the start of the closing half for Christopher Heckenberg.
The 23-year-old is enjoying a rich vein of form for Tormenta as he registered his third assist in the last four matches to take his tally to five this season.
USL League One explained why they included Tobias in the team of the week with his passing accuracy and assists giving him the edge over fellow nominees.
