The scenes from the Fluminense-Botafogo clash and Newells Old Boys' game from last night are going viral for their hilarious charm

You're accustomed to seeing incredible dribbles and screamers in South America, but two of their finest football hotbeds - Brazil and Argentina - have something more to offer.

A state of the art trolling and mocking the rivals.

The latest footage coming from those two countries on the night between Sunday and Monday shows how incredible they truly are when it comes to that.

Over in Brazil, in the dramatic derby between Fluminense and Botafogo, the latter were 3-2 up going into the stoppage time, so their players opted for a good old time wasting. A Botafogo player dragged his 'injured' teammate back onto the pitch to try to waste some time. Then, an opposition Fluminense keeper pulled him back off so the game could continue. Finally, one of Botafogo's substitutes threw him back to the pitch, and the farce continued...

If you think the Brazilians are of a different ilk, just check out what their 'neighbours' Argentinians are capable of, especially the rivals in the city of Rosario. A parachuting Rosario Central fan dropped thousands of small leaflets over the Marcelo Bielsa stadium, taunting rivals Newell's Old Boys' after Central won 1-0 there in their derby last weekend.

The leaflets read: "Pecho frío, hijo de Central" = "Cold chested, sons of Central" (meaning bottle jobs, smaller club of the two) and "+18" referring to Rosario Central being 18 wins ahead in the Newell's-Central head-to-head throughout history.
