Shabana banked slightly over Ksh 600,000 from gate collections at the Raila Stadium in Homabay on Sunday
Shabana did not have the best starts on their return to the Football Kenya Premier League (FKFPL) as they lost by a solitary goal to Murang'a Seal in a Round One match played at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay on Sunday 27th August.
Tore Bobe however are smiling all the way to the bank having collected Ksh 608,900 from the gates as per a statement on Social Media by the club.
The club sold 863 VIP tickets, each at Ksh 300 hence raising Ksh 258,900 and 3,500 tickets regular tickets each at Ksh 100 which translates to 350,000 from the ordinary section of the stadium.
The figure could have been much more if the Shabana hosted the match at its homeground, the Gusii Stadium, which is currently undergoing maintenance. The travelling fans still ensured the club got a tidy sum. Important to note that Ksh 608,900 is the gross figure before deductions like stadia hire fees and other expenditures.
