The Red Devils completed a comeback against Leicester in added time
The match did not meet expectations. In a dull game, Leicester led at halftime, but Manchester United managed to make a comeback in the final seconds of the match, advancing to the next round of the FA Cup. The final result: 2-1.
That both teams were in poor form was evident in the first half of this match. However, one chance that could be considered a good one came when Jordan Ayew capitalized on a mistake by Maguire and took a shot, but Onana was well-positioned and caught the ball.
Manchester United had to wait until the 22nd minute for any sort of opportunity when Dorgu attempted a shot, but the ball went over the goal. Aside from that, neither side created a real scoring chance, with only one shot on target in the first half-hour.

However, just when it seemed like the half would end goalless, De Cordova-Reid changed the script. In the 42nd minute, after a well-executed play from the left, the ball found Wilfred Ndidi, who struck it first-time. Onana made the save, but Reid was in the right place to simply head the ball into the net.

At the beginning of the second half, it seemed as though Ruben Amorim hadn't said anything to his team. United had no chances in the early minutes of the second half, and Leicester first threatened when El Khannouss shot from a long distance, but the ball went wide of the goal.

The desperate shot by Mazraoui in the 65th minute was the first time United even attempted a shot on goal. However, the chance that could be categorized as enormous came when Garnacho chipped the visiting goalkeeper. Everyone thought the ball was in the net, but Caleb Okoli managed to intervene at the last moment and prevent what seemed like a certain goal for the Red Devils.
But the hosts didn't stop there, and in the 68th minute, we saw a goal in the Foxes' net. In a move involving Garnacho and Hojlund, the ball rebounded off the post and came to Zirkzee, who was left alone in front of an empty goal and brought his team level.
