The 22-year-old defender joined Vojvodina in September last year from Swedish club AIK

Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje got his first goal for Serbian club - Vojvodina - as they fell 3-1 to IMT Novi Beograd in the Mozzart Bet SuperLiga on Sunday, 2 November.

Sichenje, 22, leapt high in the 80th minute to head in a fine corner from Lazar Randjelovic, which momentarily gave the hosts some hope of rescuing a point from the game, after they had gone 2-0 down.

Vojvodina ended up conceding a third goal six minutes later, which confined them to their third defeat of the season, and put a distance between themselves and the leading pack of Red Star Belgrade and Partizan.

The occasion will however stand out for Sichenje, who finally got a goal for the side he joined in a Ksh57.2 million deal from Swedish side AIK last September.

In Austria, however, Harambee Stars striker Ryan Ogam was uninvolved for his side - Wolfsberger AC - as they settled for a barren draw with WSG Tirol on Sunday, 2 November.

Ogam, 20, had seemed to make his breakthrough abroad on Wednesday, 29 October when he made it to Peter Pacult’s starting XI for the first time since joining the side in September, but was on Sunday nowhere to be seen when the team sheet dropped.

The former Tusker man, despite starting in the domestic cup win, was hooked off at halftime, with Wolfsberger trailing 2-1 by then.

His next chance to get some valuable game time comes on Saturday, 8 November, when the Wolf Pack host Hartberg.

Elsewhere in Denmark, Harambee Stars fullback Daniel Anyembe continued with his fine form for SuperLiga club Viborg as they secured a 3-2 victory over Randers FC.

Anyembe, who was on Wednesday, 29 October among the heroes of a big penalty shootout and cup comeback win over Fredericia, played another 90 minutes on Sunday, but picked a yellow card for his troubles.

The win - which lifted Viborg to ninth on the top-tier log - was wildly celebrated in the locker room as the players were given two days off.

In Norway, Kenyan striker Alfred Scriven played 71 minutes of Bryne’s 2-1 win over Brann, which lifted the side to third on the Eliteserien log.

In the Swedish Norra (Division One), Kenyan rising midfielder Irad Mshindi played the full 90 minutes of Enköpings SK’s 2-0 loss to Stockholm Internazionale, as his counterpart Stanley Wilson served his second match out after picking a red card on 19 October.

Mshindi, a Musingu High School product, was this week reported to be attracting interest from an unnamed European club that regularly competes in UEFA competitions.

Meanwhile in Romania, Kenyan midfielder Richard Odada was missing yet again for his side UTA Arad as they beat FC Metaloglobus București 2-0, while the duo of Moses Shumah and Emmanuel Osoro sat out Power Dynamo’s 1-0 win over Nkwazi FC in Zambia.
