Ogam, who arrived at the Austrian club late last month, was named in Peter Pacult’s starting XI for the Round of 16 clash against third-tier opposition SKU Amstetten, marking the first time he was involved from the get-go following two substitute appearances from the bench.

The 20-year-old lasted only 45 minutes of his side’s 3-2 extra-time victory before being pulled off at halftime.

Wolfsberger looked to be in deep trouble early on as they went 2-0 down in the first 35 minutes before pulling off a comeback just before the hour mark to take the tie to extra-time.

It would take till the 115th minute for the visitors to finally go in front, Erik Kojzek applying the finishing touch to take the Wolf Pack to the last eight.

Elsewhere in Denmark, Harambee Stars right back Daniel Anyembe scored a crucial penalty as his side - Viborg FF - survived a scare from Fredericia to book their slot in the quarterfinals of the Landspokal Cup.

Anyembe, 27, converted the third spot-kick to give Viborg a comfortable 3-1 lead in the shoot-out, which they later won 4-2 after a 2-2 draw in regulation.

Viborg had initially looked out after conceding an 82nd-minute goal to go 2-1 down, but clawed back almost immediately through Charly Nouck to take the game to the distance.

In Scotland, Kenyan striker Jonah Ayunga came off the bench to help St. Mirren hung on to a point against Premiership leaders Hearts in Paisley.

The 28-year-old was brought on in the 75th minute for Englishman Dan N'Lundulu, helping The Saints see out a 2-2 draw despite the visitors seeing a late Pierre Kabore goal disallowed by VAR.

In Germany, Harambee Stars prospect Linton Maina was a late substitute in FC Koln’s 4-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the second round of the DFB Pokal Cup.

Maina, who has struggled for gametime in the Billy Goats return to the Bundesliga, was introduced in the 79th minute, a time when Vincent Kompany’s side were coasting to a routine victory inspired by a brace from England striker Harry Kane.

In Tunisia, Harambee Stars defender Alphonce Omija was not involved in Etoile Sportive du Sahel’s 2-0 victory over AS Marsa.

Omija, who played all minutes of his side’s CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round second-leg against Kenya’s Nairobi United on Sunday, was suspended for the Tunisian Ligue 1 match on Wednesday, having amassed three yellow cards this season.

The 23-year-old is expected back in the lineup when Etoile come up against Metlaoui on Saturday, 1 November.

Meanwhile in Zambia, on-form Harambee Stars striker Moses Shumah was uninvolved in Power Dynamo’s 1-0 win over Nchanga Rangers, with compatriot Emmanuel Osoro the only man to feature, coming on from the bench in the 83rd minute.
