Tera, 29, was named in the team’s starting lineup of the quarterfinal match-up against Shirak Gyumri at the Gyumri City Stadium, with Ararat winning 2-0.
After a barren draw in the first half, the visitors got the opener a minute after the hour-mark through Ghanaian forward Paul Ayongo, before Brazilian midfielder Welton added a second in the 77th minute to wrap up a convincing 3-0 win on aggregate.

In the home first leg on 4 March, Ararat needed a first half goal by Alioune Ndour to hold a slim 1-0 advantage going into Thursday’s clash.
On a personal level for Tera, his involvement in the win was his first since signing a new contract extension with Ararat.
The former Laiser Hill Academy midfielder on Wednesday, 1 April committed himself to at least another year at Ararat, prolonging his stay at the club past the initial 30 June deadline.
The deal was his second extension in two years, with the Kenyan signing for an extra year in 2025.
The draw for the last four of the Cup is currently poised to see Ararat face fellow top-tier side Urartu, following their 5-3 aggregate victory over Ararat Yerevan.
Should Ararat go all the way to the end, a cup victory would be Tera’s second of that kind since joining the club in 2021.
Tera was in the squad that scooped the Armenian Cup in 2024, with Ararat then defeating the aforementioned Urartu 5-3 in post-match penalties, after a one-all draw in regulation.
Elsewhere in Tanzania, Kenyan defender Christopher Oruchum was on the bench as his side - Coastal Union - fell to a 2-0 to Simba.
As expected in Spain, Kenyan winger Job Ochieng was missing in action as Real Sociedad B lost 1-0 to Eibar at San Sebastian.
Ochieng was among three players out of the La Liga 2 game with injuries, the Kenyan having suffered a muscle strain during Harambee Stars’ fixture against Estonia last Friday.
