In Denmark, Anyembe was completely left out of Viborg’s 2-0 win over Sønderjyske Fodbold for personal reasons, while no communication was given for Vyner’s absence in Wrexham’s 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City in the EFL Championship.
Having been named in the squad list for Viborg’s away game at the Haderslev Fodboldstadion on Saturday, Anyembe was conspicuously missing in the teamsheet a day later, with the Danish top-tier club taking to their socials to address why.
“Daniel Anyembe has just become a father for the second time, and is therefore leaving the combat squad,” the club announced.

The 27-year-old, born to a Kenyan father and Danish mother, would see his blessings double, as Viborg, despite his absence, went on to end their two-game winless run with a comfortable victory, which took them up to fourth on the Superliga Championship Group.
After a barren draw in the first half, which saw Viborg defender Zan Zaletel denied an opener for offside, the visitors took the lead just three minutes after the break through Lukas Kirkegaard.
Viborg would add a second in stoppage time via Osman Addo, who ensured his side recovered from recent blips against Aarhus and Midtjylland, to win its first game since 15 March.
Elsewhere in England, Vyner missed his fourth game for Wrexham after failing to make Phil Parkinson’s teamsheet for an away game at Birmingham.
Vyner, who joined the Red Dragons in the January transfer window, was completely left out of the squad, with the club giving no official communication on his status.
The trip to St. Andrews was the second game in a row where Vyner’s services were not needed, this after the 28-year-old was left on the bench as Wrexham were clobbered 5-1 by Southampton.
Without him once more, Wrexham saw their hopes for promotion suffer another dent, going down again to two second half strikes from Carlos Vicente and Christoph Klarer for Birmingham’s first win in five matches.
Wrexham, on their hand, registered their third defeat in five matches, remaining four points behind Hull City, who occupy the last of four promotion playoffs spots.
