The Premier League clubs remember him really well, and even though he's 38, Jamie Vardy is starting to make sure the Serie A sides never forget him. At least Bologna won't for some time.

Vardy's Argentinian teammate Martin Payero had previously broken the deadlock a minute after the half-hour mark, while the only thing Bologna managed to do was Riccardo Orsolini's consolation goal from the spot seconds before the break.

This way, the Rossoblu wasted a massive chance to at least hint at a possibility of repeating the Leicester case and winning their first Scudetto after 62 years, just the way the Foxes stunned the entire Premier League and clinched their maiden EPL trophy ten years ago.

On the other hand, Davide Nicola's crew continued a fantastic Serie A campaign, as they are now far from the relegation zone and with a few more wins, they could even enter the race for one of the European spots.
