Three strikers have found the back of the net in a single game against Barcelona in 2025, yet none of them won
This Barca is of a different breed, indeed.
Hansi Flick's boys have bounced back from a 2-0 deficit on various occasions this season - just like this weekend against Real Madrid - and pulled off something incredible.
As many as three strikers scored a hat-trick against the Blaugrana in 2025, but - believe it or not - none celebrated a win in those games.
Moreover, they all lost.

Kylian Mbappe joined that special club on Sunday by scoring three goals at Barcelona and still ending the game in despair as Real Madrid lost 4-3.
Before the Frenchman, two other players - Vangelos Pavlidis and Borja Iglesias - experienced the same disappointment.
The latter went through the same story at the same venue as Mbappe less than a month ago, when his Celta lost to the Catalans 4-3 despite his hat-trick. The visitors were 3-1 up after his third goal, well into the second half, but ended the match with their heads to the ground.
On the other hand, Pavlidis netted trice in a nine-goal Champions League thriller back in January, which ended in Barca's favour, 5-4. The Greek scored a hat-trick that night within the opening 30 minutes, and not even that staggering achievement wasn't enough for the Portuguese giants to grab at least a point at the Estadio da Luz.
The only player who actually recorded a win along with his hat-trick against Barcelona in 2025 has been Borussia Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy. The Guinean striker was unstoppable in the return leg of the Champions League quarter-final (3-1), but that was an overall loss, too, as the Blaugrana battered them in the first leg, 4-0, and won the two-legged tie 5-3 on aggregate.
No matter how remarkable a job you do in the attack and how many goals you score against Flick's Barcelona, one thing is for sure - they'll score more and beat you!
