Tanzanian giants Simba have granted Ghanaian forward Bernard Morrison an unusual leave and pundits believe its just flowery language to say that he has left the club

The decision arrived at on Friday may as well mean that the player who is not new to controversy may as well played his last game for the Tanzanian giants as he will be out of contract in June.

According to the statement released by the club, the attacking midfielder is at liberty to carry on with his personal life up to the end of the season.

Interestingly, the team went on to wish him well for the time he will be locked out of their activities and in future endeavors.

Morrison joined the Wekundu wa Msimbazi in August 2020 from sworn rivals Yanga and has had his stay with the former shrouded with indiscipline cases and other off the pitch issues.

Early this year, the former Orlando Pirates man was suspended by the club for apparently breaching camp rules and would only to allowed back after formally writing to the Chief Executive Officer.

Morrison clinched the league, the domestic Cup, Azam Cup and Mapinduzi Cup. He helped the team reach the quarterfinals of the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
