Sign of a better times to come for United

After brushing aside Real Sociedad in the Europa League, Manchester United routinely get past Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester City

We don't want to jump to conclusions, but Manchester United seem to have emerged from that dark tunnel.

After a masterful performance on Thursday night, which saw them progress to the Europa League quarter-final, Ruben Amorim's boys recorded another impressive win, 3-0 away against Leicester City.

The Red Devils routinely defeated the EPL strugglers led by United's ex-caretake manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was in charge of Man Utd in the days before Amorim's arrival.

Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes netted tonight for a win that put them three points clear of Tottenham, West Ham and Everton.

Hojlund's goal, his eighth in all competitions this season and only his third in the Premier League, was just one of the signs of United's recovery that were blatant to their supporters at the King Power Stadium. The second is the fact that United have gone four matches without defeat for the first time since Amorim's arrival.

Garnacho also took that heavy burden off his shoulders with a second-half goal, as Bruno Fernandes assisted him. The latter made the triumph even more convincing with a beautiful goal in the last minute of the game.
