The two teams played out to a barren draw in their final FKF Premier League game of the season staged at Utalii Grounds on Sunday afternon

Both teams had nothing much to play for other than table standings and the first half was largely lethargic with very few meaningful opportunities.

Sofapaka, who were facing a largely youthful Sharks side started the game positively with Ambrose Sifuna, Lawrence Juma and Joe Waithira causing Sharks problems. They were however poor in the final third.

Sharks slowly grew into the game and started to show more attacking intent. In the first stanza the chances were few apart and both keepers were less busy, Lawrence Juma had a great opportunity to add to his tally just before the break, just his shot went across goal. The first half ended barren.

Sharks started the second half strongly with Frederick Alushula down the right delivering some good crosses which John Omondi failed to utilise. Next was Reagan Odede whose shot narrowly missed the target in the 55th minute. At the other end Ambrose Sifuna narrowly shot wide in the 57th minute form a great position.

After the hour mark it was Sharks who were doing all the attacks with Batoto ba Mungu on the back foot. In the end spoils were shared.

Sharks temporarily finish in fifth position but things could change depending on the performance in other games. Sofapaka on the other hand finish 12th but they could drop could drop to 13th should Posta beat Ulinzi Stars in Nakuru.
