The 5,000 seater facility was settled on to host the match after Kasarani Stadium was deemed unavailable
The FKF Premier League game between Nairobi United and Gor Mahia has been abandoned, following incidents of crowd trouble at Dandora Stadium.
Players from both teams were led away to the dressing rooms shortly after fracas ensued in one of two Nairobi United fan sections at the facility.

No official word has been given by the match officials in regards to play resuming, but Gor Mahia posted on their Facebook page saying the fixture had been abandoned.
The match looked to being going all smoothly till the 58th minute, when violent scenes broke out at the orange-colored stands in the stadium, located between Gates 2 and 3.
From the opposite end of the ground, footage showed individuals draped in Gor Mahia shirts forcing out fans who had occupied the Nairobi United fan section, causing an ugly commotion that captured the attention of the players and match referee Brooke Phillip.

The crowd trouble began just moments after hosts Nairobi United had equalized to make the scores 1-1, when it is alleged that a group of the home fans threw projectiles to the field of play.
Gor Mahia, who were seeking to go top with a win, had led for much of the game through Ebenezer Adukwaw's strike in the 14th minute, before Ovella Ochieng arrowed in a leveler three minutes to the hour mark.
Both sets of players delayed on kicking off with the game after the Ovella goal, and were ushered to the side of the pitch as teargas was hurled in the affected stands.

It would take till the 72nd minute, when all players and officials walked back to their dressing rooms.
Prior to the match, Nairobi United, who resulted in playing the emotive fixture at the 5,000-seater facility, reseved 2,000 tickets to their fans, with Gor Mahia benefitting a larger share of 3,000.
The venue was only settled upon this week, after the initial ground - Kasarani Stadium - was deemed unavailable.
As per the seating arrangement shared by Naibois, home fans were restricted to two stands (orange and yellow), with Gor Mahia occupying three others (blue, purple and green).

The red stand, which seats directly in the middle, was set aside for VIP.
