The left-footed central defender is hoping to establish himself as a fan favourite in Kisii
Newly Shabana FC defender Wycliffe Omondi has sent his promise to the fans ahead of the new FKF Premier League season.
Omondi joined The Glamour Boys on Wednesday 9 July from relegated side Nairobi City Stars.

The center back is one of the additions that the Gusii-based side has already made in their bid to bolster their squad heading to their third season since regaining top-flight status.
Speaking to club media, Omondi shared his ambitions and promise to the Shabana faithful as he began life at Gusii.
“I really feel good about joining Shabana which is a big team with a huge fanbase.
Now that Shabana is already a big team, my main aim is to help the team win the FKF Premier League title,” said Omondi.
Omondi, who is an admirer of the enthusiastic Shabana fans, expressed his delight in the opportunity of playing in front of them.
“It feels nice to go and play in front of a big fan base and because it is also home, I expect to get the support of the fans,” he added.
Further, the versatile defender is banking on his relationship with the club captain George ‘Dizzo’ Onyango and his assistant Justine Omwando for settling in faster at Shabana.
Apart from Omondi, the Peter Okidi-coached side has also secured the signature of highly rated midfielder Biron ‘N'Golo' Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks.
Additionally, Shabana have also acquired the services of Julius Munika, a central defender who has previously featured for FC Talanta and Strathmore FC among other teams.
Shabana registered an improved performance last season as compared to the 2023/24 campaign where they fought relegation.
