
Rwandese match officials to take charge of Harambee Stars clash against South Sudan

This will be the fifth encounter between the two sides
The international friendly match pitting Kenya's Harambee Stars against South Sudan's Bright Stars set for Tuesday 12 September at the Kasarani Stadium starting at 4 PM EAT will be under the stewardship pof match officials from Rwanda.
In an advisory on the match, the Football Kenya Federation confirmed that three Rwandese officials will take charge of the match with two Kenyans helping them as the fourth official and the match commissioner.
Experienced FIFA referee Twagirumukiza Abdoulkalim will whistle through the match assisted by his compatriots Justin Karangwa and Raymond Bwiriza as the first and second assistant referee's respectively.
Josephine Wanjiku, who earned her FIFA badge in 2021, will be on the touchline as the fourth official while another Kenyan Francis Oliele will be the match commissioner.
This will be the fifth encounter between the two sides, with Kenya being the dominant side having won all the previous four.
Elvis Rupia scored the only goal the last time the two sides met in March 2021 at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Regular tickets for the match will retail at Ksh 200, with VIP tickets going for Ksh 500.
The sale of tickets will commence at eight in the morning on the match day with three selling points; one outside Kenya Cinema in the CB and the other two at Kasarani's Gate 2 and Gate 12.
This will be the first time since November 2021 that Kenya will be hosting a football match pitting the men's national team.
