Ronaldo brings Guardiola to Brazil?!

Pep Guardiola's future is still vague, as his contract with Manchester City expires next June. The Cityzens would undoubtedly want to keep the tactician who brought them six Premier Leagues and a Champions League, but the Spaniard hasn't so far indicated his wish for an extension.

During the past few years, Guardiola has been linked to several national teams - Brazil, among others - but there were no concrete moves. However, according to the latest information, some progress in persuading the 53-year-old strategist to sit at the Selecao bench could be made very soon.

Namely, as per the Spanish Sport and Brazilian Lance!, one of the best players in football history, Ronaldo Nazario, wants to become the President of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), and his primary wish is none other but Guardiola!

The current President, Ednaldo Rodrigues' term ends in 2026, but the elections will be held during the following year. Ronaldo, a legend of Brazil with good connections in the football world, could be one of the top candidates for the position. Moreover, the 48-year-old currently owns La Liga side Valladolid and has owned the Brazilian Cruzeiro until recently, meaning that he has decent experience in the sort of activities the presidential position requires.

If this information turns out to be true, Ronaldo would immediately become the favourite to become the CBF President, while Guardiola would have a tempting option to think about. After all, the job of a national team head coach is much less challenging than being a club manager and would provide the Spaniard with a sought-after relaxation. In addition, it would be hard to say no to the five-time World Champions - which have been awaiting the World title since 2002 - and one of the biggest legends football has ever had.
