The Brazilian found the net three times (twice from the spot) in the Catalans' ruthless 5-2 victory over the former Europa League winners

Barcelona earned a four-point edge ahead of Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table and won't let go easily.

Last night, Los Blancos demolished Elche 4-1 and moved closer, but the Catalans quickly responded with a five-star performance, easily dismantling Sevilla 5-2 A decade ago, it would be a derby clash, but now, the club from Andalusia is just another rival way beneath Barca's level.

Already at the break, Hansi Flick's men were 3-1 up. Raphinha sent home two penalty kicks in the 9th and 21st minutes, while Dani Olmo made it 3-0 seven minutes before the break.

A comfortable lead caused a slight complacency among the home crew, so the visitors managed to pull one back deep in added time through the defender Oso, whose skillful volley was unsavable for Joan Garcia.

However, that was just Sevilla's brief hint of a potential comeback, which was ruined in the opening quarter of an hour after the break, as Raphinha completed his hat-trick in the 51st minute and Joao Cancelo made it 5-1 nine minutes later.

The visitors were facing a genuine catastrophe, but Flick's men - on purpose or not - took their foot off the gas in the final half an hour, and the rivals exploited it, scoring another goal in the final seconds through the Swiss Djibril Sow, though it did not change the impression that Matias Almeida's men were crushed at Camp Nou.
