Dickson Raila has completed a move to Migori Youth after playing zero minutes for Gor Mahia.
Dickson Raila has parted ways with Gor Mahia without making an appearance having spent half a season at the club as he has completed a move to National Super League (NSL) side Migori Youth.
The forward joined the reigning league champions in September 2020 from lower league side Masawa FC, becoming the last piece of transfer business before the start of the season.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Migori Youth chairman Abdi Aziz Osman revealed that Raila joined the club on a one-year deal.
“Raila has joined us on a one-year contract, we were in search of a striker and we saw that he is still young who has potential and can help our team,"
“He also saw it wise to look for a team that would hand him some play time as he was not getting any minutes at his former club” said Aziz.

Raila was part of the 14 players that Gor Mahia signed before the start of the season after losing a number of key players due to financial woes.
The vital squad members that Gor Mahia lost include Joash Onyango to Simba SC of Tanzania, David Mapigano to Azam FC, Dickson Ambundo to Dodoma Jiji FC, Boniface Omondi and goalkeeper Peter Odhiambo to Wazito FC.
Aziz also opened up on how the ban in sporting activities has affected the club as it came when they picked up a moral boosting 3-2 Shabana FC.
“The league suspension has really affected us because we had started gelling as a team, we started picking up and getting wins.”
“Now we will definitely lose some fitness and loss the momentum we had built,” added Aziz.
Raila becomes the second forward Gor Mahia has lost in the January transfer window after Nicholas Kipkirui joined Nairobi City Stars.
