PSG at half speed, but full control: Saints switch on and off and still win 3-0

Le Havre may have even had a sensation that they could do something at Parc des Princes. Alas, it was just an illusion
Same script as always. As they so often do in Ligue 1, Paris Saint-Germain played at controlled intensity, saved their legs, let the opponent dream for a moment… and then pressed the gas just enough to crush all hope. At the Parc des Princes, the pattern is even more predictable. This time, Le Havre put up a respectable fight, but the ending was identical: 3-0 and thank you very much.
It may sound harsh, but that's exactly how it looked: PSG got the job done in Matchday 13, already thinking about Wednesday's Champions League showdown, when Tottenham arrive in Paris. The defeat to Bayern scrambled the European champions' plans, leaving Luis Enrique's side with zero room for error if they want one of the top eight spots and a direct ticket to the round of 16. And there's no doubt they want it - no one at PSG wishes to relive last season's drama, when qualification hung by a thread and they had to fight through a playoff against Brest.
The lineup said it all: Kvaratskhelia, Marquinhos, Paqueta, Fabian Ruiz, Barcola… all on the bench. Add along with injured Dembele, Desire Doue and Achraf Hakimi, it was clear this was a team filled with "second options." Even so, Les Parisiens cruised to three points and reclaimed top spot without ever really suffering.
The plan took shape early, with Lee Kang-in striking in the 29th minute to calm the night. From that moment, PSG managed the tempo comfortably. To be fair, Luca Chevalier had one big save to make from a free-kick just before Joao Neves settled the contest in the 65th. And moments after the second goal, Le Havre even clipped the post, but that was as dangerous as it got.

The final 3-0 came through Bradley Barcola, who replaced the scorer of the opener. Job done, three points banked, and eyes already fixed on Spurs. PSG don't waste energy, but they use exactly as much as they need.
