In the end, the two sides settled for a draw that took Posta to third with 21 points, the same as league leaders Police and Tusker, both of whom have a superior goal difference.
A profligate performance from Posta Rangers saw them fail to ascend to the summit of the FKF Premier League after being held to a barren draw by Bandari FC in a match played on Tuesday, 16 December at the Kasarani Annex.

Going into the match, Posta were fifth on the log with 20 points, just one shy of joint league leaders Kenya Police FC and Tusker FC, while tied on points with Gor Mahia and Kakamega Homeboyz.
The Dockers, on the other hand, started the day in 15th place on the log with 13 points, the same as Nairobi United, APS Bomet and Ulinzi Stars.
As has been their norm under newly installed head coach Collins ‘Korea’ Omondi, Posta started the match on a high tempo, pinning Bandari in their own half with Brian Chonjo and Caleb Olilo combining well in attack, but they could only go as far as creating half-chances.
As the match approached the 10th-minute mark, Bandari started growing into the encounter and got their first opportunity five minutes later when Geoffrey Ojunga laid a beautiful pass to Abdallah Hassan, who controlled the ball well, but his shot hit the side netting.
As the half progressed into the 40th minute, Chonjo got onto the end of a loose ball in the box, but his goal-bound shot was blocked by Andrew Juma in the Bandari defense as both teams settled for a goalless first half.

In the second half, Posta added more punch to their attack, Olilo and Shivachi in particular showing more urgency.
In the 54th minute, Chonjo’s attempted shot from outside the area went wide for a corner, as did Jackson Dwang’s effort four minutes later.
Korea introduced Vincent Wasambo and Eliud Lokuwam in attack in the 70th minute in search of a goal.
The two combined well 10 minutes later when Wasambo chested the ball to Lokuwam on the edge of the box, but his shot brushed the crossbar with Bandari surviving the scare.
In the end, the two sides settled for a draw that took Posta to third with 21 points, the same as league leaders Police and Tusker, both of whom have a superior goal difference.
Bandari, on the other hand, endured a fifth consecutive match without a win as interim coach Razak Siwa registered his second draw.
