Muhoroni Youth center back Alex Onchwari says there is a big possibility for the goalkeeper and defender the season awards to go to the club this season.
Muhoroni have been impressive in defense this season as the club has kept three clean sheets in the opening five rounds of the season.
The Charles Odera-coached side didn't concede in their ties away to Nairobi City Stars and AFC Leopards and in their 1-0 win over Ulinzi Stars at the Muhoroni Stadium.
Muhoroni conceded in their 1-1 draw against Nzoia Sugar and against Tusker, whom they fell 1-0 at the Ruaraka grounds.
Only Posta Rangers have conceded fewer goals than Muhoroni, as the mailmen have had their defense breached once.
Bandari and Murang'a Seal have also conceded twice.
The good start has left Onchwari who was named the man of the match against Leopards convinced that the club can have the best defensive record in the league.

"We have a good team that is capable of sustaining the good start we have had for a long time. We have been solid defensively especially when playing away," said the defender.
Onchwari however challenged the club's forward line to step up and win as many matches as possible given they have won a game in five rounds.
"The team is working hard in order to get the forward line firing too. If we can convert chances we'll, I think, have a successful season," he said.
Onchwari joined Muhoroni before the season kicked off.
