The tactician is best remembered for helping Fortune finish second in the National Super League (NSL) in the later annulled 2021-2022 season
Former Fortune Sacco head coach Nicodemus Omasete has attracted interest from a couple of clubs ahead of the start of the FKF Division One league.
Omasete is currently domiciled in Embu with Division 2 side Ewasco FC whom he won the Eastern Zone league with last season but couldn't sail in the mini league which determines the teams to gain promotion to the third tier.
The youthful tactician revealed that Fortune are keen for a reunion while Ishiara FC, another Embu based club that features in the fourth tier, is also courting his signature.
Further, Omasete told Mozzart Sport that Equity FC had generated interest in his expertise just days to the start of the new campaign.
Omasete joined Ewasco after leaving Fortune whom he served as a player, captain and head coach. Mozzart Sport understands that his contract with Ewasco expires in mid-November.
"There are clubs that have reached out including Fortune. I haven't made up my mind as I still have a running contract with Ewasco. The decision on whether I will leave or stay will be made possibly before the end of the week," he disclosed.
Omasete is best remembered for helping Fortune finish second in the National Super League (NSL) in the 2021-2022 season behind APS Bomet.
However, the FKF National Executive Committee annulled the season, handing the club a heavy blow in the dream to gain promotion.
The two clubs alongside other lower tier clubs moved to the Sports Disputes Tribunal challenging the decision to annul the season but were not successful.
