The Ugandan forward has struggled to adapt to the league due to a string of injuries.

With Kenyan football currently in turmoil, Tusker FC forward Deogratious Ojok claims that his initial assessment is that the Ugandan Premier League is better than the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL).

During its peak almost a decade ago the Kenyan league saw an influx of Ugandans who joined the league for better pay and exposure but the number has been on a sharp decline.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Ojok admitted that the Ugandan league is better than the Kenyan one but will be able to come to a better judgement at the end of the league.

“Ugandan football is tougher than here (Kenyan) when it gets to some stages maybe here we have not yet reached the peak of the season. When we get to the business end then I will be able to compare it very well because if I finish a season here is when I can make a better comparison,” said Ojok.

The forward joined Tusker at the start of the season from Bul FC having spent three seasons with the club before running down his contract.

The lanky forward has struggled to adapt at Tusker as his season has been plagued by injuries with Robert Matano preferring Tanzanian import Ibrahim Joshua.
