Shabana will take on MCF in a league match on Sunday and the tactician says it is a match that they must get maximum points from.
“We are at home and it is important that we get maximum points. It will also be my first game at the dugout and I would definitely like to start on a positive note. We will definitely fight to get maximum points from the match,” he added.
On the team’s target for the season, Ojienda said the ultimate goal is to earn promotion to the top tier.
“Shabana is a team with great history and they should be playing in the top league. We want to be promoted to KPL and I believe that if we give our best, it is something that we can achieve. We are tenth in the table but when you look at the gaps between teams it’s small, if we win a couple of games we will find ourselves among the top teams,” he concluded.
Shabana is tenth with 23 points, nine off leaders FC Talanta.
