Harambee Stars international was officially unveiled at his new club, as he penned a three-and-a-half-year deal with the former Premier League side
As Mozzart Sport Kenya exclusively announced five days ago, Collins Sichenje has become the new Charlton Athletic player!
The popular Addicks have unveiled their new defensive pillar, as the Harambee Stars international signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the London club.
"It feels amazing to be here. It’s a good club with a good project and I’m ready to start working. It’s a big step for my career. It’s a good opportunity to keep working, developing and help the team, so I just need to be humble and keep working - that’s the goal," Sichenje said upon penning the deal for the club's official website.

On the other hand, Charlton manager Nathan Jones was pleased and thrilled to acquire such a talented defender.
"We’re thrilled to add Collins, who is a defender that we’ve been tracking for a long, long time. He’s an aggressive, front-footed centre-back who is only 22 years of age, so he’s one that can grow with us and one that we’re excited to be welcoming to the football club," the 52-year-old strategist stated.
Sichenje joined Charlton from the Serbian side Vojvodina for €2.2 million and became the Addicks' seventh reinforcement in the January Transfer Window.

At the Valley, the 22-year-old Kenyan will play alongside several former Premier League names, including the former Luton Town custodian Thomas Kaminski and the legendary Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back and captain, and ex-England international, Conor Coady.
Charlton play their next game on Friday against QPR at home (23.00), and that will be Sichenje's first chance for a debut.
