The two teams will face off at the Kasarani Annex on Wednesday afternoon.

Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Patrick Odhiambo foresees a tough duel when his side comes up against Posta Rangers in an FKF Premier League tie on Wednesday afternoon.

Homeboyz, fresh from ousting Gor Mahia from the Mozzart Bet Cup, will be at the Kasarani Annex seeking a league win after four failed attempts. In Posta, they face a side that beat FC Talanta last time out.

Odhiambo, who was recently appointed as Homeboyz's head coach, understands how big the task ahead is and was quick to point to Posta’s recent, not-so-bad run.

"It is obviously going to be a difficult game because if you look at Posta’s current form, it is good; they are getting good results against tough opponents, and we know what they are capable of," he stated.

The Kakamega-based side has not been too impressive in the league in recent weeks, and Odhiambo’s prayer is that the win over K’Ogalo on Sunday can spur team success.

"We have also prepared well for the game; we won the Cup over the weekend, and I think that is a result that can motivate the players heading into the game against Posta. We have a strategy for the match, and it is now upon the players to play according to instructions," he added.

The club recently acquired striker Enock Agwanda from KCB to bolster their attack, and the coach is banking on the former Sony Sugar, Gor Mahia, Bandari, and Sofapaka attacker to get his side goals in the remainder of the season.

"He knows how to score goals; he is experienced, and I have full trust in him. We have had problems up front, and I am confident that once he gels with the rest of the team he will start scoring; I have full confidence in him," he added.
