Focus will firmly be on Awendo Green Stadium and Embu Stadium, where promotion chasing sides Migori Youth and 3K FC will all be in action.
Beginning the day’s fixtures at Awendo Green Stadium, Migori Youth will square it out against Kibera Black Stars in a clash expected to provide fireworks.
The Migori-based outfit heads into the encounter nursing the disappointment of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Fortune Sacco, a result that temporarily stalled their impressive winning streak and title charge.
That setback saw the Mozzart Bet-backed side surrender top spot on the standings, although they remain level on 68 points, with fellow title contenders 3K FC and Mombasa United in one of the tightest promotion races witnessed in recent seasons.

Sammy Otulo’s charges understand the magnitude of Saturday’s assignment, knowing victory would guarantee a return to the summit, while significantly boosting their hopes of securing promotion to the FKF Premier League.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport ahead of the encounter, Otulo admitted the clash would not come easy, but expressed confidence in his side’s ability to respond positively on home soil.
“It is definitely going to be a massive test of character for us, because the match itself will not be an easy task. However, we are up to the challenge, and must make the most of our home advantage to secure maximum points,” said Otulo.
Migori are also fully aware that any slip-up could potentially see them drop further down the standings, should results elsewhere favour their direct rivals.
Having built a formidable reputation at home this season, the hosts will once again be banking on the Awendo faithful to inspire them back to winning ways.
Beyond the race for maximum points, Migori will equally be motivated by the desire for revenge, after Kibera Black Stars edged them 1-0 in the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign.

However, they face a difficult assignment against one of the league’s most stubborn sides, despite Kibera enduring a frustrating spell in recent weeks.
The Iddi Badi-coached side heads into the match on the back of a four-match winless run, a poor stretch that has significantly dented their push for promotion, and left them 13 points adrift of the leading pack.
The Rubis-backed side will therefore be desperate to halt the slump and revive their campaign with a timely return to winning ways, as they continue chasing a top-five finish.
With Migori seeking to reclaim top spot and Kibera aiming to snap their poor run, the Awendo encounter promises to deliver another captivating contest.
Meanwhile, attention will also shift to Embu Stadium, where another blockbuster top-of-the-table clash awaits as 3K FC host Equity FC.
3K heads into the encounter in sensational form, having won nine consecutive matches, while stretching their unbeaten run to 14 games, one of the most impressive streaks in the league this season.
Buoyed by that remarkable run, the Embu-based side will be confident of extending their momentum against a resilient Equity outfit equally eyeing promotion.
One of 3K’s biggest strengths this season has been their dominant home form, with the side proving ruthless in front of their supporters and difficult to break down.

Speaking ahead of the match, head coach Nicodemus Omasete acknowledged the challenge awaiting his side but insisted his team remains focused on taking each game at a time.
“We approach every game differently depending on the opponents, how they set up, and how they react to different moments in the game,” Omasete stated. “We are very positive and very well prepared. I believe we will get positive results. For now, let us focus on tomorrow’s game, one game at a time.”
Joint top on 68 points alongside Migori Youth and Mombasa United, the Mozzart Bet-backed side knows any mistake at this stage of the season could prove costly in the heated title race.
Maximum points for 3K would potentially open a crucial three-point gap at the summit should their closest challengers falter elsewhere.
However, standing in their way is an ambitious Equity side, equally determined to strengthen their bid for a historic promotion to the FKF Premier League.
The Bankers have enjoyed a commendable debut campaign in the second tier, and currently sit fourth on the table with 64 points, just four behind the joint leaders.
After suffering a frustrating setback in their promotion push following a barren draw against Kisumu All Stars, John Kamara’s side will be eager to bounce back immediately, and reignite their momentum.
Equity’s own impressive unbeaten run — now stretching to 11 matches, further adds spice to what is shaping up to be one of the standout fixtures of the weekend.
Victory for the Bankers would see them move to 67 points and close the gap at the top to just a single point, firmly throwing themselves into the four-horse title race.
Having secured a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture, Equity will also be eyeing a league double over 3K while simultaneously dealing a major blow to their rivals’ title ambitions.
With promotion implications heavily attached to the contest, the Embu showdown is expected to produce another enthralling battle.
Elsewhere, Gems Cambridge will stage a crucial relegation six-pointer as Darajani Gogo take on Vihiga United.
Vihiga heads into the clash rejuvenated following back-to-back victories under returning head coach Gilbert Selebwa.
The former FKF Premier League side has shown signs of revival in recent weeks and will now be targeting a third consecutive victory as they continue fighting for survival.
Currently second from bottom on 26 points, Vihiga could climb out of the relegation zone for the first time in weeks with another positive result.
More importantly, victory would significantly strengthen their hopes of preserving their NSL status after what has been an extremely difficult campaign.

However, they face a Darajani Gogo side equally desperate for points in the survival battle.
The Kibera-based outfit has endured a difficult 2026 campaign, managing just a single win since the turn of the year.
Without victory in their last five outings, Gogo will be keen to arrest their decline and secure a timely boost in their quest to avoid relegation.
A win over Vihiga would move them to 31 points and considerably improve their chances of staying afloat with the season entering its decisive stages.
With survival at stake for both struggling sides, the contest is expected to be fiercely contested.
Still at Gems Cambridge in the second match of the day’s double-header, Nairobi City Stars will face relegation-threatened Mully Children Family (MCF) in another crucial fixture.
Fresh from a narrow but valuable 1-0 victory over Nzoia Sugar last weekend, MCF will be aiming to build momentum with consecutive wins under head coach Francis Chege.
That victory lifted them to 27 points, and another positive result would see them rise to 30 points and further strengthen their survival bid.
However, they face a Nairobi City Stars side desperate to end a poor run of form.
The Kawangware-based outfit is winless in their last four matches and will be hoping to rediscover form and salvage some pride in an otherwise disappointing season.
The final match of the day will once again take place at Awendo Green Stadium where Gucha Stars host Luanda Villa in the second match of another double-header.
With their safety virtually secured, Luanda Villa will be targeting an extension of their impressive four-match unbeaten run as they continue pushing for a strong top-half finish following a difficult start to the campaign.
Gucha Stars, however, enter the clash under immense pressure.
The side has not registered a victory since March 22 and is currently enduring a worrying nine-match winless streak, although three of those matches have ended in draws.
They will therefore be desperate to finally return to winning ways and ease lingering fears surrounding the relegation battle.
Victory for Gucha would move them to 38 points, and potentially open a healthy 10-point cushion above the danger zone with only four matches remaining.
With crucial points at stake across both the title race and survival battle, Saturday’s National Super League action promises another thrilling chapter in an already dramatic season.
