The Mozzart Bet-backed side will also be seeking revenge after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Equity in the reverse fixture.
The National Super League (NSL) enters its penultimate round on Sunday with all 10 fixtures set to kick off simultaneously at 3PM., as the battle for promotion, the title, and survival reaches a decisive stage.
The spotlight will be at Awendo Stadium, where league leaders Migori Youth host Equity FC in a high-stakes clash that could determine the destination of the title and one of the automatic promotion slots.
Migori hold a four-point lead over second-placed 3K FC and know that victory will take them to 80 points, securing both promotion and the NSL crown with a game to spare.
The Mozzart Bet-backed side will also be seeking revenge after suffering a 3-2 defeat to Equity in the reverse fixture.
With league glory within touching distance, Migori captain Kelly Otieno has called for caution against an opponent that has enjoyed an impressive second-round campaign.
“We are expecting a tough match. Equity is not an easy team to play against. They have been good throughout the season. In the second leg, they have been among the best teams in terms of their winning and unbeaten run,” Otieno told Mozzart Sport.
“We are therefore going to treat them with respect, but we will bank on home support to help us edge past them. We know this match could determine our destiny and reward us for what we have fought for throughout the season.”
However, they face an in-form Equity side that sits fourth on 71 points and remains firmly in the promotion race.
A win for the Bankers would lift them to 74 points and potentially into second place should 3K stumble away to Mwatate United.
At Wundanyi Stadium, relegated Mwatate United return to action after missing last weekend’s fixture due to financial constraints.
While their fate is already sealed, they will be eager to finish strongly and potentially dent 3K’s promotion ambitions.
The Embu-based side heads into the encounter knowing that maximum points are essential to keep pace with Migori in both the title and promotion race.
Third-placed Mombasa United will be aiming to revive their faltering campaign when they host Nzoia Sugar at KPA Mbaraki Stadium.
Back-to-back winless outings have dealt a major blow to their title hopes, but victory would keep them firmly in contention for promotion.
Nzoia, meanwhile, will be seeking an upset as they look to finish the season in the top half of the table.
At Mumboha Grounds, Vihiga United face a must-win encounter against Luanda Villa.
The former FKF Premier League side sits second from bottom and risks relegation if results go against them.
Victory would significantly boost their survival hopes heading into the final round.
The relegation battle also takes centre stage at Marist College, Karen, where Darajani Gogo host Kisumu All Stars in a crucial six-pointer.
Both sides are fighting to avoid the drop, with victory potentially proving decisive in their survival bids.
At Gems Cambridge, Kibera Black Stars will be desperate to end a seven-match winless streak when they host Mully Children Family (MCF).
The visitors, currently third from bottom, could move out of the relegation zone with a positive result.
Elsewhere, Soy United entertain MOFA at Eldoret Showground, Kabati Youth face Naivas FC in Murang’a, while FC Talanta host Nairobi City Stars at Dandora Stadium in an all-former FKF Premier League sides clash. Fortune Sacco will welcome Gucha at Wanguru Stadium.
