Darajani are winless in the opening three games of the season having lost two and drawn one in which is a calamity start to the term for the club

Darajani Gogo management is sticking by Coach Caleb Aringa and his coaching staff even as pressure mounts for his dismissal start to the campaign.

Darajani remains winless in the opening three games of the 2023-2024 National Super League (NSL) season drawing one and losing two in a row.

Calls by the club's faithful’s for Aringa's dismissal escalated over the weekend after the team succumbed to yet another 2-0 defeat against the visiting Mathare United at the Hope Centre last Sunday.

In an interview with Mozzart Sport, the club's hierarchy has kept faith in the young tactician alongside his entire technical bench.

"We are pleased with what Aringa is doing at the club. This is football and you have to give it sometime. We have unwavering confidence in his leadership," said one of the club's decision makers that sort to remain anonymous.

Gogo, in their debut second tier season, managed a seventh-place finish that had the club actively involved in the off-season transfer market to bolster the squad in a bid to mount a significant promotion challenge.

Despite a poor start to a new campaign that throws the club's promotion chase into a doubt, the management is optimistic the team will soon bounce and bruise shoulders with league veterans.

"We remain committed to achieving our goals at the start of the campaign and it can only be attained by trusting the technical bench and we believe they will soon guide us toward victory.

To our good supporters you should not be worried we anticipate excellent results in the coming matches," added an impeccable club source.

The club boss further called for fans to rally behind the team as they map a clear path to top flight football, however, remained adamant about Gogo chances of gracing the FKFPL.

"Gogo will play in the top tier regardless of the start, fans should come to the stadium and support the team since they are the driving force behind any club success." He concluded.

Gogo will next face Migori Youth who have also not won a game over the same number of fixtures.

The two sides are among of the most supported clubs financially in the league and spent big to strengthen their squads- yet, the investment is yet to bore any fruits.
