Not this again... Havertz picks up another injury, set to miss North London Derby

Less than a month and a half after recovering from a knee injury, the German suffered another setback

If you're looking for the best player in the world, there are Ousmane Dembele, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe... If you're looking for the most ruthless scorer in today's football, there are Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland...

But if you want to know who is the unluckiest player in the world (or at least one of them), look no further than Kai Havertz.

A bit over a month after recovering from a severe knee injury, which kept him sidelined for four months, the German suffered another setback, picking up a new injury - this time a muscular one.

Following his long absence, Havertz returned to the team a month ago in Arsenal's FA Cup clash against Portsmouth, clocking 22 minutes. As the time passed, Mikel Arteta gave him more and more minutes, made him a starter in three games, and Havertz repaid him with two goals and as many assists in the previous four matches.

And just when it seemed that the 26-year-old was back to his best, ready to become Arteta's valuable asset in a title race (especially after Mikel Merino's harsh injury), he'll have to sit out a number of weeks due to a muscular issue.

At the moment, it's clear he'll miss the Gunners' clash against Brentford tonight (23.00), the FA Cup duel against Wigan in three days, as well as the North London Derby against Tottenham, scheduled for February 22.

Hence, another name has been added to Arsenal's "hospital", as the aforementioned Merino and the young Max Dowman are already out of the team, while Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Martin Odegaard's situations remain tricky and unclear.

Arteta will be in for some intense headaches in the days to come, that's for sure.
