
Njuguna eager for Champions League debut with Tusker

Tusker will begin the CAF Champions League Group Stage journey against Arta Solar 7.
Tusker FC midfielder John Njuguna is yearning to make his CAF Champions League debut against Djibouti outfit Arta Solar 7 on Saturday 11 September.
The Brewers will kick off their campaign away at the Stade El Hadj Hassan Gouled in the First Preliminary round hoping to become the first Kenyan club to make it to the CAF Champions League group stages.

Njuguna who joined Tusker FC in the current transfer window from Ulinzi Stars is looking forward to his debut in the club continental tourney and has also set his sights on retaining the league with Tusker.
“I feel good, I got another chance of returning, I have the chance of playing in the CAF Champions League and being a championship,"
"My target is retaining the league with Tusker and playing in the Champions League which I have not yet played, it will be a different experience and I hope for the best," said Njuguna.
Njuguna made a return to Tusker after making the switch to Ulinzi Stars from the Brewers youth side back in December 2018 and impressed in the just-concluded season.

The midfielder was also delighted to see Eric Zakayo and Jimmy Mbugua promoted to the first team after his return to Tusker and is eager to show the Brewers fans what he has in store.
“It's a dream for every player to earn a promotion so and when they were promoted it gives the other young players motivation to work and get to the senior team,"
"What motivates me is that Tusker is a big club, it promotes youths and I felt that I should return to play and showcase my talent," added Njuguna.
