The Law Enforcers sealed the title on Sunday in Machakos after overpowering Shabana FC by a solitary goal. The all-important goal was scored by defender Brian Okoth, who connected with a Tyson Otieno delivery from the corner spot with a bullet header.

The team will now receive their trophy on Sunday when they play Gor Mahia at the Ulinzi Sports Complex. The match was initially set for Saturday, but the LCC has announced that the games have been moved to Sunday, as some clubs have had challenges securing venues on Saturday.

“Good morning, owing to challenges by some teams in securing the match venues on Saturday, we regret to notify you that the last round of matches shall all be played on Sunday, 22nd June 2025, kick-off at 3 PM.

Kindly adjust accordingly, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause,” read the statement from the league managers.

Police coach Etienne Ndayiragije lauded his charges after sealing the league win, admitting that it was a tough season. He reserved praise for the opponents, particularly Gor Mahia, for pushing the team all the way.

"We've worked so hard for this, and I'm happy we now have it after a huge struggle. We wish to congratulate our opponents, and particularly Gor Mahia, for piling the pressure on us and forcing us to push above our weight.

It was a tough season with worthy opponents, and we hope to replicate this next season," he said.
