From exposing potential match fixers, supporting athletes, maintaining a consistent presence in the stands, to lending a helping hand to needy causes, his never-ending kind deeds have stood the test of time.

Although it is not very clear which outfit he supports apart from national teams and players plying their trade abroad, one thing that remains undisputed is his passion for football across all tiers.

You will easily find him at grassroots tournaments or supporting clubs and players at the base of the Kenyan football pyramid out of nothing but passion.

Among the teams he has consistently supported is Vihiga Sportiff, an FKF Division One Club, which is presently placed tenth on the log.

When gaming giants Mozzart Bet got wind of the club and their quest to rise to the top level, a crew was dispatched to its base in Mbale with a basketful of sporting equipment.

Under the firm's game-changing initiative dubbed New Jerseys' for New Champions, which seeks to uplift grassroots clubs, the outfit received a full set of 23 uniforms and two footballs.

Club President Ronald Ambani led his jubilant troops in fitting the new kits and a brief warm-up session after the short handover ceremony.

Ambani, could not hide his smile after watching his boys come out of the changing room in a refreshing look courtesy of Mbugua's hand.

"We thank Mozzart Bet for visiting us with sporting material. This gesture will go a long way in fueling our march to the National Super League," said Ambani.

The club is under the tutelage of Abubakar Bakari, with George Muyesu and Wisley Wang'ombi serving as the skipper and team manager, respectively.
