Leopards are the only side yet to win a game this season. Will they end their winless start today when they take on Nzoia?
After enticing encounters on Saturday, the Football Kenya Federation Premier League continues on Sunday with four matches lined up across the country.
AFC Leopards will be seeking their first win of the season when they travel to Bungoma for the struggling Nzoia Sugar FC match-up at the Sudi Stadium.
The big cats have not had one of the best starts to the league, failing to win in the opening seven rounds of the campaign, having managed four stalemates while picking defeats against arch-rivals Gor Mahia, Bandari FC, and KCB FC.
On the other hand, the millers are winless in their last seven games; furthermore, the Godfery Odour-managed side has dropped points in the last few games, losing against Kakamega Homeboyz, league leaders Posta Rangers, Murang’a Seal, and Nairobi City Stars.
Despite the embarrassing start, Ingwe boasts the best statistical record in the tie, having gone eight matches without defeat in the previous meetings with the sugarmen.
Nzoia's last win over the Leopards came back in October 2018.
A win for any of the pair will lift them out of the red zone for the first time this season.
At the Kasarani Annex, Kariobangi Sharks will play host to Kakamega Homeboyz, looking to get back to winning ways.
Sharks haven't won in three of their last Premier League matches, whereas Abana Abeingo has a marvelous defensive record that has seen the Kakamega-based club keep two clean sheets in the last three ties.
Sharks have struggled in this fixture, failing to nick a win in the last six encounters and conceding each of the last six meet-ups.
The William Muluya-led team's last victory against Homeboyz dates back to May 2021.
In an early kick-off at Kasarani Annex, eleventh-placed Nairobi City stars entertain fourth-placed KCB FC with both teams keen to end their winless runs.
