In six league matches in 2026, the Old Lady have scored 17 goals
For years, Juventus’ biggest problem was chance creation and efficiency below the desired level, but 2026 has brought a completely surprising turnaround. In six league matches in 2026, the Old Lady have scored 17 goals, with the rejuvenated Jonathan David leading the way with five. Still, the key seems to be that the team have started attacking collectively and posing a threat from all angles. It is hard to say whether Juventus are more dangerous on the ground or in the air, which was also shown by tonight’s celebration in Parma — 4–1 (2–0).

The main reason for this improvement in aerial play lies in the fact that Gleison Bremer has fully settled into the team after missing October and November. The Brazilian scored two goals today and also restored defensive stability, making the benefit for the entire team manifold. Another important factor in Juventus’ transformation is the tempo insisted upon by the coaching staff. The Old Lady play with much greater intensity, ball circulation is quite fast, and every opportunity for quick counterattacks is exploited. This will be of great help in the fight for a Champions League place, which promises to be fierce.

From the very start, the Old Lady went on the offensive. In the opening minutes, Francisco Conceicao hit the crossbar, signaling the beginning of a siege on the hosts’ goal. The pressure paid off in the 15th minute when Bremer rose highest from a Conceicao corner and powered a header into the net for 0–1. Parma threatened occasionally through Valeri and Oristanio, but goalkeeper Di Gregorio preserved the lead with fantastic saves. In the 37th minute came the most beautiful move of the first half: Kalulu burst down the right flank, and Weston McKennie finished with a spectacular mid-air volley into the top corner to give Juventus a commanding halftime advantage.
Everything could have been decided after just 45 minutes. An exciting end to the first half also featured a shot off the post by the young Yıldız, as well as the unusual news from the bench that the Turkish gem had reportedly asked to be substituted at halftime. Parma tried to get back into the game late in the half after a cardinal error by Locatelli, but Di Gregorio once again confirmed his excellent form, denying the hosts a goal.
2 - Since Spalletti joined with Juventus, only Inter (37) have picked up more points in Serie A than Juventus (30 ahead of Milan, 29 but with a match fewer). In addition, in the period, only the Nerazzurri (30) have scored more goals than the Bianconeri (27). Route.#ParmaJuve pic.twitter.com/2MGWVwTYJS

However, the second half began in a completely unexpected way for the visitors, as Andrea Cambiaso scored a shocking own goal in the 51st minute while trying to intervene in front of his own goal, breathing life back into Parma virtually out of nowhere. The home fans’ joy was short-lived, though, as the Old Lady responded immediately and reaffirmed their dominance. Just three minutes later, after real chaos in the penalty area and a save by Corvi, Bremer once again found himself in the right place and, with an acrobatic effort from the goal line, restored Juventus’ two-goal lead. Although VAR checked a potential offside, the goal was awarded, allowing the Brazilian defender to crown his phenomenal performance with a second goal of the match.
Parma’s complete collapse came in the 64th minute, when goalkeeper Corvi reacted disastrously to a shot from Francisco Conceicao, parrying the ball straight to Jonathan David, who calmly finished for an unassailable 1–4. With total control of the match, Spalletti decided to refresh the lineup, bringing on Kostić and Gatti, while second-goal scorer McKennie made way for Cabal. Soon after, Openda replaced David and further increased the tempo. He had two excellent chances and managed to convert the second, but it was ruled out for offside. The Old Lady now face a brutal schedule over the next month, starting with a cup match against Atalanta. That will be followed by games against Lazio, Inter, Galatasaray (twice), Como, and Roma.
