“To adapt at Posta has not been hard because the club has talented players. It is just that at Gor Mahia there are quality players with a high mentality, we have the mentality that Posta is not a big team but what I know is we have talented players.

“The coach we have is very good tactically, I have also known some of the players for a long time so it was not really much of a struggle to settle down,” said Ondiek.

Since joining Posta Rangers, Ondiek has proved to be a vital cog in The Mailers wheel, contributing immensely to their midfield that has been revitalised under the tutelage of head coach Stanley Okumbi.

Ondiek also laid bare the events that led to his exit at Gor Mahia insisting that his contract at the club at elapsed forcing him to seek a new challenge.

“My contract at Gor expired and I had to make a move because I was not playing that much, when your contract ends you cannot really fault the club for letting you go,”

“I was supported to join Posta since my Western Stima days and when my contract at Gor ended the Posta management called me and I had to make the move,” added Ondiek
