Former superstars of the Parisian club spoke out following PSG’s magical night
Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr wasted no time reacting to Paris Saint-Germain’s emphatic Champions League victory over Inter Milan.
The Ligue 1 giants crushed the Italian side 5–0 at the Allianz Arena, not only lifting their first-ever Champions League trophy but also completing a historic treble — the first in the club’s history.
Desire Doue led the charge with two goals, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu each found the net in a dominant display. Shortly after the final whistle, both Mbappe and Neymar took to social media to share their thoughts.
Mbappe posted on Instagram: "The big day has finally arrived. Victory and with the manner of a whole club. Congratulations, PSG."
Neymar kept things short and sweet, writing: "Congratulations PSG," followed by five clapping emojis.

Once part of a star-studded PSG lineup alongside Lionel Messi, both players were central to what was supposed to be a golden era in Paris. However, their closest brush with Champions League glory came in 2020, when PSG narrowly lost 1–0 to Bayern Munich in the final — before Messi's arrival.
Neymar, who joined PSG in 2017 for a world-record 200 millions, moved to Al Hilal in 2023 for around 75 millions. Mbappe, meanwhile, joined Real Madrid last summer on a free transfer and has just wrapped up a standout debut season in Spain.
While Real Madrid fell short as a team, Mbappe still delivered on an individual level — scoring 40 goals and providing four assists across 51 appearances.
