Reports claim that the Argentinian is unhappy in Paris and would consider the move
When Mauricio Pochettino left Tottenham in November 2019, the club was in much better shape than now. When the Argentinian came to PSG in January, the club was in third place, one point behind Lyon. Until the end of the season, he managed to move only to second place, failing to make another Champions League final along the way. Is it already time to move on?
Surely, this idea seems ridiculous. We are talking about a serious club and a serious manager, a former PSG player who signed just four months ago and surely can’t be judged after such a short period, but yet...the English ’Sun’ claims that Poch is seriously considering leaving Paris and returning to Tottenham!

The British tabloid is reporting two things: Pochettino is unhappy in Paris and Spurs director Daniel Levy admitted making a mistake when he sacked the Argentinian. As long as Tottenham are without a coach, there will be rumors just like this, and every available manager in the world will be connected to the North London club, even Pochettino.
“I think it’s important to put everything in context and to look at what happened in January. We arrived and had no time to work, but we were welcomed really well by the club and the players. We were playing every three days and we made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League, beating Bayern Munich and Barcelona. We won the Trophee des Champions and the Coupe de Franc, which was important for the team. But Paris Saint-Germain will always be disappointed when finishing in second. We need to use the experience for the future of the club and of course to change things ” said Poch after the title failure in France.
He has been in the club for only four months, has a great squad even without Mbappe, who can potentially leave, and will be without a real contender next season, since champions Lille will sell their best player and a coach in June, so there is really no reason for the Argentinian to leave the club.
Still, The Sun claims that Pochettino is now 'seriously' considering a reunion with the north London side, feeling he has 'unfinished business' with them. He is also unhappy in Paris, after failing to win the title being a clear favorite. And Spurs brass are serious about making the attempt to bring Posh back to London. Spurs supremo Daniel Levy has secretly admitted that sacking Pochettino was 'the worst mistake of his career'. Levy also believes that this potential coaching sensation would somehow make Harry Kane change his mind.
This story won’t go away until Pochettino ’kills’ it in an interview, or until Spurs name a new coach (which won’t be soon), or maybe until they really appoint the Argentinian after all.
