He left the pitch during the half-time interval against Manchester City. He's undergoing scans on Monday

Arsenal winger Noni Madueke is undergoing scans after hurting his knee during Sunday's Premier League draw with Manchester City. The 23-year-old was seen holding his right knee towards the end of the first half of the game at the Emirates Stadium and was replaced at the interval by Bukayo Saka.

Madueke is being assessed on Monday and will have his right knee scanned, with an update expected on Tuesday during Mikel Arteta's next press conference.

He has made more than a decent start since joining from Chelsea and impressed for England during the last international break, scoring in a 5-0 win over Serbia earlier this month.

Arteta delivered an update after the City tie and said that Madueke "had an issue very early in the match and he wasn't well enough to continue".

Arsenal have already been hit hard by injuries this season, with Kai Havertz undergoing surgery to solve a knee issue last month.

Saka has just returned after missing four weeks with a hamstring injury, and captain Martin Odegaard is on the sidelines again with a shoulder issue that was first picked up in August.

The Gunners are next in action on Wednesday night, when they travel to face League One side Port Vale in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
