Macharia who was largely used as an impact player in the month engineered Tusker's recovery in their 2-1 win over Nzoia Sugar in the third match. Tusker were headed for a 1-0 loss but Macharia who had come in the second half levelled matters before Henry Meja notched home the winner.
The former Thika United midfielder becomes the second recipient of the club award which comes with a Ksh.10,000 token after Meja who bagged it in January.
Macharia is understood to have faced off with Meja who also had three goals against his name.
The teenage sensation who bagged the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) January Player of the Month helped himself with a brace against Rangers and headed home the winner against Nzoia.
The eleven-time champions will play returnees Nairobi City Stars in their next match.
