Look who Carletto found to save him from stubborn Getafe

Arda Guler scores a winner in his first start for Real Madrid in 20 games

Some things needed to change, and a small Madrid derby against Getafe on Wednesday night was just the occasion Carlo Ancelotti wanted to make that shift.

Arda Guler and Endrick made their surprising start, while Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo stayed on the bench against Jose Bordalas' side. And it paid off for Carletto and Los Blancos as the Turkish teenager scored a first-half winner in his first start for the most decorated European club in 20 games.

That lovely goal didn't affect the game much, as we saw quite a dull battle which got its surprising climatic finish. The home side pushed vigorously for the equalizer, creating as many as three very promising chances, but then Thibaut Courtois stepped up and his incredible saves kept the giants in the title race, which could have literally ended tonight if they didn't win against Getafe. And - let's be honest - they were so close to slipping.
