Olympique Marseille are apparently interested in signing the defensive duo currently plying trade in the Premier League in the January Transfer Window
Olympique Marseille have set their sights on the Premier League centre-back duo Benoit Badiashile-Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window to strengthen their defence.
According to La Provence, the 23-year-old Chelsea defender and the 24-year-old Arsenal counterpart are seen as the best possible solution for the OM squad, considering the balance between their experience and age.
However, those two deals still seem far away from becoming a reality. The Blues are refusing to let Badiashile leave, although the Frenchman is still waiting for a significant chance under Enzo Maresca.
When it comes to Kiwior and Arsenal, he has been featuring more regularly under Mikel Arteta in recent weeks, which also makes a potential move to the Velodrome somewhat unlikely.
