Once a teenage sensation, who United bought from AS Monaco for £36m in 2015, signs a permanent contract with C.F. Monterrey
We reported on Friday that the deal was almost done, but now it's official - former Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has joined Mexican side C.F. Monterrey.
The 29-year-old, who made 317 appearances for the Red Devils during his nine years at Old Trafford, has signed a two-year contract at the Liga MX side with the option of a further year.

There, he'll join legendary former Spain and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, who signed for Monterrey in February.
Martial came to United from AS Monaco back in 2015 for £36m, thus becoming the world's most expensive teenage football player. He left United after his contract expired in 2024 to join AEK Athens. In Greece, he made 19 league appearances and scored seven goals.
Interestingly, the French striker's move to Monterrey comes after Mexican rivals Pumas attempted to secure his signature but were unable to meet Martial's wage demands.
