The headline is, however, around Kenyan songstress Sofiya Nzau.
Nzau’s Your Love (Antdot Remix), a collaboration with Bruno Antdot and PLS&TY, has been confirmed as part of the game’s official 91-song playlist.
She joins an international lineup that features names like Ed Sheeran, Koffee, Idris Elba, and Tom Grennan.
For millions of players worldwide, the soundtrack is an essential part of the FC experience, setting the energy in menus, celebrations, and pre-match build-ups.
Nzau’s inclusion means Kenyan music will now echo through one of the most popular sports gaming franchises on the planet.
The 32-year-old took to social media to break the news, noting that it was an amazing moment for Kenyan music and culture.
“So proud to announce that Your Love (Antdot Remix) is featured on EA Sports FC 26!” she wrote on Instagram.
The news sparked celebrations online, with fans hailing the milestone.
This is not the first time Kenyan music has entered the EA Sports FC universe. In 2023, Matata’s Not Today was featured on the FC 24 soundtrack.
Nzau’s addition to FC 26 builds on that breakthrough and continues to showcase Kenya’s growing influence in the global football-gaming scene.
The singer, who shot to international fame with her viral hit Mwaki in 2023, has since become the most-streamed East African artist on Spotify, crossing 10 million monthly listeners earlier this year.
