The fixtures will be staged at Nairobi’s Kasarani Stadium and Nyayo National Stadium, with one of the encounters scheduled as a late-night floodlit clash at Nyayo.
According to FIFA’s official portal, Harambee Stars will begin their home campaign against The Gambia on Friday, 5 September, at Kasarani Stadium, with kick-off slated for 4:00 pm.
Four days later, on Tuesday, 9 September, Kenya will once again line up at Kasarani, this time against Seychelles in another 4:00 pm kick-off.
On the same day, Nyayo National Stadium will host a Group F clash between The Gambia and Burundi, which is set for a rare 10:00 pm kick-off under floodlights.
After their September home ties, Kenya will wrap up the group phase with away trips to Burundi and the Ivory Coast on Monday, 6 and Monday 13 October, respectively.
Currently, Harambee Stars sits fourth in Group F with six points, trailing group leaders Ivory Coast, who boast 16 points.
Kenya’s campaign so far has produced one victory, a resounding 5-0 triumph over Seychelles, alongside three draws against Burundi (1-1), Ivory Coast (0-0), and Gambia (3-3), with their setbacks coming in back-to-back 2-1 defeats to Gabon, both home and away.
The upcoming fixtures will be a stern test for head coach Benni McCarthy, who is still seeking his first FIFA World Cup qualifier victory since being entrusted with the Harambee Stars job.
Since his appointment, McCarthy has overseen two matches, a thrilling six-goal thriller draw against The Gambia and a narrow 2-1 defeat to Gabon at Nyayo.
Kenya, pooled in Group F, will be fighting to improve their standings in a bid to keep alive their dream of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in history.
The 23rd edition of the tournament will be staged across three North American nations, including the United States, Mexico, and Canada, from June 11 to July 19 2026.
