Juma names provisional squad for Pan African Schools Tournament

The Kenya National U15 girls team coach, Jackline Juma, has named the provisional squad for the upcoming CAF African Schools Football Championship Zonal Qualifier.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship will be held in Kenya from December 10 with 18 countries expected to grace the tournament.

Eleven boys teams and seven for girls will compete in the Championship with the champion in each category to represent the Zone at the Africa Schools Championship expected to take place in April next year

The team consists of a blend of both primary and secondary school players.

Velma Ouma, Cathrine Wambui, Brenda Awuor, Gaudencia Ouma and Sharline Asami form the quintet from Madira Girls High School. Additionally, Wiyeta Primary boasts the duo of Cindy Akinyi and Shalom Praise.

The quartet from Marura Primary also made the provisional squad, namely Shantel Anyango, Carol Achieng, Lydia Murembe, and Sandra Akinyi.
